Ceramic Tiles

Ceramic tiles have a glass like, dense surface and are sealed in the manufacturing process but the grout between the tiles should be sealed.

Glazed Porcelain Tiles

Similar to ceramic tiles, the glass surface is dense and protects the tile. A sealer will not penetrate into the surface and can be wiped away.
